Flick of the Switch is an album by Australian band AC/DC, recorded shortly after their European Tour at the beginning of 1983.
After problems with other members of the band, drummer Phil Rudd departed midway through the recording sessions, although he had completed his drum parts. He was eventually replaced by British drummer Simon Wright. Wright eventually appeared in the videos for two of the singles on the album, "Flick Of The Switch" and "Nervous Shakedown". Rudd, however, eventually returned to the band in 1994.
The album was originally released in the United States on August 15, 1983 (see 1983 in music). The album was re-released in 2003 as part of the AC/DC Remasters series.
