Floating match

The floating match is a much-coveted magic effect in which a match is placed on a card and when the card is bent the match levitates above the card. The original was invented by Ben Harris, under the name of Cosmosis. The floating match is available at most magic shops.
Method
Invisible thread is stretched across the face of the card. When the card is bent, the invisible thread stays straight and the match is seen to levitate. Unless very high quality invisible thread is used, the trick is lighting and angle sensitive.
