Encyclopedia : F : FO : FOR : Ford 7W
The Ford 7W Ten, like alot of the cars in the days of '38, had a long, slender, sheet metal body with a wing-style hood that made the car look majestic in a sense. Its back end was rounded and cut off with no extended trunk. Fins were cut into the underside of the wheelwells to help keep the engine interior cooler. It had standard round headlights, which was the style of the day. Two door models were rear wheel drive and were powered by a 1172cc engine.
