The CDW27 Platform was Ford's midsize car automobile platform from the late 1990s. It was used in the Ford Contour, Mercury Mystique, and Mercury Cougar. A descendant of this platform is used in the European Ford Mondeo and Jaguar X-Type. The successors to many of these cars use the new Ford CD3 platform.
