Ford Durashift

Durashift is the brand name of a range of Ford automatic transmissions. They feature electronic control with manual selection of gears, available in 4 or 5 gear configurations.
There is also a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) version for smaller cars.
The Ford Transit featured a Durashift EST Automated Shift Manual transmission, which shifted like an automatic, but had a specially adapted manual transmission. It had different modes like: Economy, Winter and Tow-Haul mode.
