Francois Beauchemin

François Beauchemin (born on June 4, 1980, in Sorel, Quebec, Canada) is a professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League. Beauchemin is currently in his second NHL season, and as of January 3, 2006, he has played 29 games, scoring two goals and 11 assists for 13 points so far this season.
Beauchemin was drafted 75th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Before this season, he had played only one NHL game, and was held off the scoresheet in that game.
