Frederic W. Boatwright

President of the University of Richmond from 1895 to 1946. Boatwright Memorial Library, on the school's campus, was named in honor of Dr. Boatwright's long, distinguished service. Under Dr. Boatwright's leadership, the University of Richmond (then Richmond College) moved from its former downtown Richmond location to the current West End campus.
