Fresh Radio is an independent local radio station broadcasting to the Yorkshire Dales in Northern England. The station can be received on the following frequencies: 1413AM (Skipton and Richmond, North Yorkshire), 936AM (Hawes and central Dales) and 1431AM (Ilkley, Settle and Pately Bridge). Fresh Radio can also be heard online via the Fresh Radio [website].

The station has always prided itself on being wholly independent of any other organisation or media group. Launched on 4th May 1997, the station was originally called 'Yorkshire Dales Radio'. In 1999, it was renamed 'Fresh AM'. In 2002 the station name was altered slightly to the current 'Fresh Radio'.

Fresh Radio's main studio base is in Skipton, however daily programmes are also broadcast from studios located in Richmond, North Yorkshire. A team of journalists reports on items affecting listeners in the coverage area, which is one of the largest in England.

Fresh Radio's format features a wide variety of music, featuring contemporary recording artists from the sixties to the present day. A team of friendly presenters link the music with news, weather, travel, quizzes and information relating to the coverage area.
