Frodsham railway station

Frodsham railway station serves the town of Frodsham, Cheshire. There is a connecting line to Runcorn railway station and is currently used for any type of service, none of which call at Frodsham, the only passenger train a week, from Chester to Runcorn (0835 from Chester) passes through Frodsham without calling. This is a parliamentary service, required by the Railways Act, and only runs from 27th May to 9th September 2006, to fulfill the requirement. The connecting line is now unidirectional only, from Frodsham Jcn to Halton Jcn (Runcorn).
