Fuzhou (}; }) is a prefecture-level city in Jiangxi province of the People's Republic of China. Its name has been officially changed to Linchuan, probably to set it apart from the much better known Fuzhou nearby in Fujian. Most people and local bus station signs still refer to it by its old name, Fuzhou.

It is located to the south of the provincial capital Nanchang. Its total area is 18,800 km². Its population is 3,700,000 people. It is historically important as the home (specifically Linchuan) of Tang Xianzu, the great Ming Dynasty dramatist.
