Gérard Côté

Gérard Côté, C.M., C.Q. (July 27 1913 – 13 June 1993) was a Canadian marathon runner.
A four-time winner of the Boston Marathon (in 1940, 1942, 1943, and 1948), he competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics.
In 1940, he was the first francophone recipient Lou Marsh Trophy. In 1956, he was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. In 1989, he was made a Knight of the National Order of Quebec. In 1990, he was made a Member of the Order of Canada.
