G. Holmes Braddock High School is a secondary school located at 3601 SW 147th Avenue in Miami, Florida. The school mainly serves the western portion of Miami's Kendall suburb; its principal is Manuel S. Garcia.

Braddock was built to serve the grossly overcrowded schools in southern and central Miami-Dade County. A population explosion in the Kendall suburb during the 1980s posed a large problem for existing schools in the area, forcing some high schools to remove 9th grade as a way of aliviating the overcrowding problem. Braddock was built as, and still is, the largest high school in the county in terms of capacity. The school itself has a capacity of 4,300 with an overflow of up to 5,000 with the addition of portable classrooms. Despite this, Braddock still became the most populated, and second most overcrowded school after Miami Springs High School in the late 1990s and early 2000s. This forced the county to build two new high schools in the area (Felix Varela High School, and John A. Ferguson High School), all located within five miles of each other. As of the 2005-2006 school year, overcrowding at the school has been alleviated to some extent, but it is believed that with new home developments in the area, all three high schools will reach another overcrowding problem within the next ten years. A third high school is expected to be built in this time.

The school is named after a former 38-year member of the school board, who as chairperson from 1969-1970 led the district's efforts to desegregate its schools.

Braddock's athletic rivals are Miami Sunset High School and Felix Varela High School.

Braddock requires school uniforms [link] (PDF file).

The school requires polo shirts colored navy blue, heather gray, or white. The shirts may be plain or embroidered with the Braddock Bulldog logo.

Pants, capris, shorts, skirts, and skorts must be khaki or navy blue.
