George Robert Watkins (May 21, 1902August 7, 1970) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.

Robert Watkins was born in Hampton, VA. He learned the trade of shipfitter. In 1920 he went to Chester, PA, and organized the Chester Stevedoring Co., and sold it in 1931. In 1932 he organized the Blue Line Transfer Co. with a partner, operating a fleet of trucks to all points in the East. He served a four-year term as sheriff of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate for three four-year terms, 1949-1960, and he served a four-year term as county commissioner, 1960-1964. He operated a farm in Delaware County and was a breeder of thoroughbred horses.

He was elected in 1965 as a Republican and served until his death in West Chester, PA. He is buried at Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery in Birmingham Township, PA, near West Chester.
