GAT-X370 Raider Gundam

This article is about a fictional weapon from the Cosmic Era timeline of the anime Gundam metaseries.
Overview
In mid CE 71, the Earth Alliance collaborates with Muruta Azrael's Azrael Conglomerate to build three second-generation mobile suits to counter the G-units stolen by ZAFT. These designs feature a new variation of Phase Shift armor known as "Trans-Phase". Unlike normal Phase Shift, which draws power constantly, Trans-Phase armor activates only when the mobile suit is hit, and only at the point of impact, reducing the armor's power consumption and increasing combat endurance. In addition, these three suits' pilots are designated as "Biological CPUs" (noting that the Alliance considers them equipment rather than human beings), with their abilities enhanced by drugs to match those of Coordinators.GAT-X370 Raider
One of these is the GAT-X370 Raider, a transformable attack use mobile suit, whose "Biological CPU" is Clotho Buer. Its armament includes of a "Zorn" beam cannon in the mouth, a dual shield cannon on the right arm, and the "Mjolnir" spherical breaker, an exceptionally dense handheld mace which is able to damage even Phase Shift armor. The "Mjolnir" can also be spun rapidly on its long cable to form a makeshift shield. In its bird-like flight mode, the Raider can also use nose- and shoulder-mounted machine guns, and "Ahura Mazda" beam cannons in the claws. In addition, it can serve as a subflight unit for other mobile suits, such as the GAT-X131 Calamity. It is also similar to GAT-X303 Aegis because they have similar frames and can transform into a Mobile Armor.
GAT-333 Raider Full Spec
The Raider is actually a modification of the GAT-333 Raider Full Spec design, though the Raider is built before any of the limited production Raider Full Spec suits are completed. The Raider Full Spec is more specialized toward atmospheric flight, at the expense of inferior space combat capability. It lacks the beam weapons and hammer of the Raider, and instead uses a sub-wing that features external hardpoints which can carry a variable armament of machine guns or propellant tanks for increased flight range. It also mounts a pair of "King Cobra" missiles on its shoulders; however, these can only be operated in flight mode.
History
The Raider is first used in the conquest of the neutral Orb Union in CE 71, then sent to space and assigned to the Archangel-class assault ship Dominion under the supervision of Muruta Azrael. Depending on which version of SEED you watch the Raider is destroyed by Dearka Elsman in the GAT-X103 Buster (Gundam SEED Special Edition) or by Yzak Joule in the GAT-X102 Duel (Gundam SEED) using the Buster's rifle. One of the Raider Full Specs is piloted by ace Edward Harrelson, and another is covertly transferred by Murata Azrael to Orb's Rondo Sahaku faction. Harrelson's unit engages in battle against Morgan Chevalier and his Gunbarrel Dagger, and is beaten, but he escapes.
