GQView
Encyclopedia : G : GQ : GQV : GQView
GQView is a Free Software image viewer created by John Ellis using the GTK+ toolkit, designed to run on the X Window System. For MS Windows, unofficial Cygwin and native win32 ports are also available.
The author of GQView has a development break and wants to resume his work on GQView soon (email from April 2006).

- Viewing images, including RAW formats
- Thumbnail images in the directory browser
- One-click photo organizer/sorter
- Slideshow and full-screen modes
- Viewing EXIF data for images
- Timeline browser (only in 2.1.1 beta), similar to Picasa
