Gabazine

Gabazine acts as an allosteric inhibitor of channel opening for the GABA A receptor, after binding to the GABA binding site. In simpler words it is a GABAA receptor antagonist. It is an anesthetic used to act on receptors for the neurotransmitter GABA (a small molecule used primarily as an off switch by the brain)
Gabazine is a GABAergic anesthetic that can create something similar to non-REM sleep in the brain.
