Gabbai

A Gabbai (Hebrew: גבאי) is either a person who assists in the running of a synagogue and ensures that the Jewish prayers run smoothly and that other needs are met, or an assistant to a rabbi.
A Gabbai's obligations would also be to be in charge of the Jewish cemetery.
