GameTrailers is a website which delivers broadband video-game content. It was founded by gamers who were tired of waiting for slow downloads of footage of video games. Its parent company is MTV, whose parent company is Viacom. GameTrailers produces broadcast quality video content, which comprehensively covers the world of video games. Its content is short programs produced specifically for gamers. The site has built a vast library of high-resolution video that users can stream immediately to their computer. When GTTV’s original content is combined with trailers, cinematics and gameplay content that is posted several times daily, the result is an endless stream of exciting programming available to a growing audience. GameTrailers does not require a subscripion to access any of its videos, unlike websites such as IGN and Gamespot, which only allow non-subscribers to access low resolution content. It's one of the only websites that have free HD Trailers for games that are presented in High-Definition. Gamespot, and IGN require you to pay money, for their 'premium' subcriptions.
