Gamla Ullevi

Gamla Ullevi meaning Old Ullevi, named Ullevi until 1958 when Nya Ullevi was built, is a football stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was opened in 1916 and has a capacity of 15,000–18,000 depending on usage.

The record attendance is 32,357 and was set 2 May 1957, when Örgryte IS played IF Elfsborg.

Gamla Ullevi will be demolished in october 2006 to be replaced with a new football stadium. The new stadium, scheduled to open in 2008, is yet to get a name but is until then referred to as Nya Gamla Ullevi, meaning New Old Ullevi (Not to be mistaken with Nya Ullevi). The new stadium will hold up to 20.000 people and be the new national arena for lady's football in Sweden.
