Gånglîå is a one man Christian cybergrind or grindcore band from Orange County, California. Its sole member, David Smittcamp, uses only electronic equipment to create the band's ecclectic sound. The project was started in 1999 and is distributed by Einsteinium Records.
Societal issues, philosophy, theology, and personal stories make up the lyrical content that is sung in a variety of vocal styles. All tracks are recorded, mixed, and produced with a home built computer running software including FLStudio, Reason, Cool Edit Pro, Hammerhead, and SimSynth. Major influences on Smittcamp's project include 90's west coast hardcore, early grindcore, gore, breakbeats, Discordance Axis, Naked City, Libido Airbag, and Venetian Snares.
