Geki (激) is a character from Capcom's fighting game Street Fighter.
Story
Geki, who was born in Japan, is a ninja that enters the first World Warrior tournament to test his skill. He is a master of Ninjitsu that uses shurikens, teleportation and a claw on his left hand to defeat his opponents.Trivia
- He hasn't been seen outside of the original Street Fighter.
- Coincidently, Street Fighter II has another warrior with a mask and claw named Vega. Due to this, it has been speculated that Geki was the one who taught Vega ninjutsu. However, this has never been confirmed nor denied.
- For years, there has been speculation that Ibuki (one of the fighters from Street Fighter III) is Geki's daughter. This has never been confirmed nor denied.
- Enjou, a ninja that's part of Ibuki's clan in the background of her stage, is often mistaken for Geki.
- In Japanese, Geki's name means intense.
- In the Street Fighter comic by Udon, Geki was killed by Gen for attempting to assassinate him while he was training a young Chun-Li.
- Geki uses a special move where for a period of time he becomes invisible, until he is hit by his opponent. *When Geki wins a round in the original Street Fighter, there is a split second frame (before he disappears in smoke) of him removing his mask and gi revealing a recolored sprite of Ryu with grey hair, blue headband and attire. This is only found in the WORLD version.
