Encyclopedia : G : GE : GEO : George Griffith

George Griffith (full name George Chetwyn Griffith-Jones; (18571906)) was a British science fiction writer and noted explorer who wrote during the turn of the century. His works appeared in magazines such as Pearson's Magazine. Griffith was never popular in the United States due to his political views, and was overshadowed by Herbert George Wells.
