George Phipps, 2nd Marquess of Normanby

George Augustus Constantine Phipps, 2nd Marquess of Normanby, GCB, GCMG, PC (July 23, 1819 – April 3, 1890) was a politician of the United Kingdom.
He was the son of Constantine Henry Phipps, 1st Marquess of Normanby and acceded as Marquess of Normanby in 1863 (previously he had been styled Earl of Mulgrave). He was a liberal politician and became governor of Nova Scotia (1858–1863), Queensland (1871–1874), New Zealand (1874–1879), and Victoria (1879–1884).
