George Robert Barker

George Robert Barker was knighted in 1859 for his distinguished services during the Indian Mutiny.

He married Mary Ann Stewart of Spanish Town, Jamaica in 1852. They had two sons, John Stewart Barker (1853) and Walter George Barker (1857). Robert Barker died possibly in Bengal in July 1861.
