Gertrud is a 1964 film directed by Carl Theodor Dreyer. It was his final film. It was Dreyer's most polarzing film. It furthered his sound style with beautifully framed shots and very long takes, including a 9 minute, 56 take of Gerturd and her ex-lover, Gabriel, talking about their pasts.
