Gina Silva is a Los Angeles-based newscaster who works for KTTV Fox News and KCOP. She does special projects reporting, general assignments and fills in for the morning and evening anchors. In addition to reading the news, Miss Silva does weather and entertainment reports for the show Good Day L.A. Gina was a correspondent for the entertainment program Extra (television show) from 1997 to 2000. Prior to KTTV, she worked for the Univision network. She also worked for the CBS affiliate in Tucson and the FOX and ABC affiliates in Phoenix. In 2002, she served as a weekend news anchor at KCOP in Los Angeles. She has a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunications at Arizona State University.
