Giuseppe Garibaldi II

Giuseppe Garibaldi II (1879- ) was an Italian soldier, son of Giuseppe Garibaldi, born in Melbourne, Australia. He took part in the Greco-Turkish War in 1897 and afterwards fought with the revolutionaries in Venezuela, and in other conflicts in South America. He served in the Balkan Wars in 1912, and joined the Italian army in World War I, fighting with distinction. He was created brigadier-general in June, 1918, and retired from the army in June, 1919.
