Gje

Gje (Ѓ, ѓ) is a letter of the Cyrillic alphabet, used in the Macedonian language to represent /gʲ/ or /ʥ/. Words with this sound are sometimes cognate to those in Serbian with ђ. The transition from a palatalized voiced velar plosive to a voiced alveolo-palatal affricate is similar to the hard/soft G found in Romance languages and English.
