Global Gathering 2006 is due to take place at Long Marston Airfield on the 28th and 29th of July. The festival promoter, previously known as Godskitchen completed a restructuring and rebranding programme in 2005, and are now known as Angel Music Group, to reflect their wide range of music-related interests, although the Godskitchen Arena will probably be the centrepiece of the festivals Saturday line up. Although the line up is yet to be confirmed, their will be arenas hosted by Get Loaded, eseential Selection, Babooshka, air, Accelerated Culture, Polysexual, Bedrock, Carl Cox & Friends, Afrodizzyscratch, Good Times and Miss Moneypennys. The outdoor beach stage is anticipated to return, and BBC Radio 1 are to cover the event. Confirmed acts include Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk, and Groove Armada, among many others.

Global Gathering took place for the first time in the United States on 18 March 2006 in Miami,Florida, at the city-owned Bicentennial Park alongside Biscayne Bay. This event marked the first time that the festival has gone across the Atlantic. Angel Music Group, parent company of Godskitchen, partnered up with United States-based companies Track Entertainment (which acquired AMG on June 5th, 2006), and Club Space to produce and promote the event. Acts included Sasha and John Digweed, Deep Dish, Roger Sanchez, Adam Freeland, Murk, and rock acts such as Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Lacuna Coil, Avenged Sevenfold, Tommy Lee, and more.

With the success of the Miami event, Global Gathering is doing a second Stateside festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Labor Day Weekend in September of 2006. Performers are all being confirmed as of this writing.

Global Gathering will also present HI-FI (EIRE), which will take please over the 4th-5th of August in the grounds of Belvedere House Co,Meath. This festival follows in the successful footprints of Global Gathering Ireland from 2005.
