Gobardanga

Gobardanga is a small town in North 24 Parganas,West Bengal, India.

It is one of the oldest municipality of West Bengal. It has a College namely Gobardanga Hindu College along with Hostel. There are several renowned schools in this town. It has strong historic background from the pre-independence era, i.e. jamindar bari, oxebow lake, site of the first widow marrage.
