Gobindachandra Das(1885-1918), was a Bangladeshi poet and writer. He was born in Gazipur.

Life

Was a very poor man and could not continue study. Was an employee of Bhawal Estate and left Bhawal because of the manager. In the last part of life, Gobindachandra Das was in very poor condition, even, he did not get foods.

Works

Gobindachandra Das was a ‘Swavabkobi’, ‘A poet by nature’.

His literary works were included in the curriculum of school level, secondary and higher secondary Bengali Literature in Bangladesh.
