Gojo, Nara

Gojō (五條市; -shi) is a city located in Nara Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 34,436 and the density of 386.75 persons per km². The total area is 89.04 km².
The city was founded on October 15, 1957.
On September 25, 2005 the villages of Nishiyoshino and Oto merged into the city of Gojō.
