Gorlice is a town in southern Poland with 28,707 inhabitants (2004). Situated in the Lesser Poland Voivodship (since 1999), previously in Nowy Sacz Voivodship (1975-1998). It is the capital of Gorlice County.
The city was the focal point of the German Gorlice-Tarnów Offensive during World War I, in May, 1915.
