Gorzo the Mighty

Gorzo the Mighty, Emperor of the Universe, is a fictional columnist for the satirical newspaper The Onion. He is a parody of cliché science-fiction villains, particularly from films of the 1950s.
Gorzo has ruled the universe since the 1930s and is opposed by Crash Comet, Space Commander from the year 2000. Gorzo is known for willingness to blast all that oppose him into atoms. He enjoys breeding giant carnivorous star worms as a hobby.
As of December 2005, he has written five columns.
