Graham Gouldman (born on 10 May, 1946, in Broughton Park, Manchester, England) is an English songwriter and musician, whose songwriting career exploded, in 1965, when, at an early age, he was responsible for writing a string of million-selling hit songs including The Yardbirds' "For Your Love" and The Hollies' "Bus Stop".
Other notable 1960s songs of his recorded by other artists include "Heartful of Soul", "Still I'm Sad", "Evil-Hearted You" by The Yardbirds, "No Milk Today" by Herman's Hermits,"Look Through Any Window" by The Hollies, "Pamela, Pamela" by Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders, "Behind the Door" by Cher, "Tallyman" by Jeff Beck and later "East West" by Morrissey.
Subsequently as the bass player of 1970s rock group 10cc he co-wrote (with Eric Stewart) such hits such as "I'm Not In Love" ,"Dreadlock Holiday" and "The Things We Do For Love" and was, subsequently, one half (with Andrew Gold) of the duo Wax writing their biggest hit record "Bridge To Your Heart"
