Greasy rider

Greasy Rider is a documentary film being produced and directed by Joey Carey and JJ Beck. The film looks at the implications of vegetable oil as an alternative fuel in a time of decreased production of petroleum and increased demand for petroleum.
The filmmakers traveled the USA in a 1981 diesel Mercedes-Benz that they converted to run on Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO). The trip consists of meeting with the founders of the four major Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO) conversion kit manufacturers: Greasecar, Greasel, Frybrid, and Neoteric. The film also includes interviews with Morgan Freeman, Noam Chomsky, Yoko Ono, Tommy Chong, Rae Dawn Chong, and Ronnie Davis.
The film is scheduled for completion by May 2006.
