Great Bromley is a village and civil parish in the Tendring district of Essex at Grid reference . It lies 6 km south of Manningtree and 9 km east of Colchester and includes the hamlets of Balls Green and Hare Green. The A120 trunk road (with the A133 as a spur off it) cuts right through the middle of the parish.
The church is dedicated to Saint George.
