Greenback may refer to:
- Greenbacks, a colloquial term for the United States dollar, often used when referring to the debate of "hard vs. soft money" which originated after the Panic of 1873 or from Civil War Demand Notes.
- United States Greenback Party, who advocated inflation of the currency in the years after the American Civil War.
- Save the Greenback, an organization of U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing employees and paper and ink suppliers opposed to phasing out the paper dollar
- Greenback, Tennessee
- A loudspeaker, model G-12, made for guitar cabinets by the Celestion company. The rear of the speaker is covered with a green plastic cowl, hence the term "Greenback". This speaker is legendary among guitar players because of its distinctive and highly desirable tonal characteristics.
- A nickname given by anglers to the scaled sardine due to its bright green back.
