Greg Bownds (born February 20, 1977 in Chuluota, Florida) better known by his stage name TNT, is professional wrestler, currently working for the Australian Wrestling Federation.

Beginning

Greg Bownds wrestled as "TNT Kid" for World Wide Wrestling and Australian Championship Wrestling. He won the Australasian Tag Team titles with Kiss before leaving the promotion after a backstage dispute and vacated the title. In 1998 The TNT Kid defeated Mark Mercedes for the ACW Heavyweight title in Fairfield, NSW. From here Bownds moved to International Wrestling Australia in 1998 where he became a popular face. An ankle injury put him out of action for six months in 1999 until he formed the Australian Wrestlnig Federation.

Australian Wrestling Federation

In 1999 Bownds formed the AWF and toured Australia with the likes of Sabu, Marty Jannetty, Super Dragon and Chris Candido. Bownds has made his biggest impact here and has wrestled in the promotion since its inception in 1999. The promotion only had a world heavyweight and tag team championships at first but eventually formed the Australasian championship, similar to that of the WWE Intercontinental Championship or the WCW United States Championship. In August 2001 TNT won an 8 man Tournament to become AWF Australasian Champion, defeating Lobo in the finals, losing it a few months later.

In November 2002, Bownds achieved his greatest accomplishment to date, the AWF Heavyweight Championship. He defeated Il Cognito for the championship and defended it for months on end against all challengers. In March 2003, TNT lost the title to the same man he won it from, Il Cognito, in a 30-minute Iron Man match.

Throughout 2002 and 2003, Bownds went to Mexico and learnt Lucha libre with Rey Misterio, Sr. and Phobia, two of the sports' most respected wrestlers.

In April 2004, TNT regained the AWF Australasian championship by defeating Mark Hilton. TNT defeated Hilton in a series of rematches following his win. Throughout 2005 TNT has feuded with Scotty Club and Dean Draven.

TNT is the head trainer of the AWF School of Pro Wrestling and has trained over 30 active professional wrestlers.

World Series Wrestling

In October 2005 TNT wrestled for World Series Wrestling on the International Assault Tour in Australia, working with major names like AJ Styles, Jeff Jarrett, Christopher Daniels and Rhyno.

On October 5, Frankie Kazarian defeated TNT in Melbourne.

On October 7, TNT beat Super Dragon and Frankie Kazarian in a triple threat match in Sydney, considered a huge upset in many people's minds due the massive popularity Kazarian and Super Dragon had over TNT.

On October 8, Kazarian defeated TNT and Super Dragon in another triple threat match in Newcastle.
