Grenfell is a community of 1100-1200 in Saskatchewan, Canada that was first settled in 1882. It is situated at the junction of Highway #47 and Trans Canada Highway #1 just 80 miles east of Regina.
The settlement was the result of the westward expansion of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The town is named after Pasco du P. Grenfell, an early shareholder of the railway company and a prominent railwayman. Grenfell was incorporated in 1911, and hosts a stable economic base, reasonable land prices and is 15 miles south of the Qu'Appelle Valley.
