The Grocery Manufacturers Association is a lobby group based in Washington, D.C..
It could be considered one of the richest lobby groups after the oil and gas lobby. Some of its members are Barilla America, Inc., Bestfoods, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Cadbury, Campbell Soup Company, Coca-Cola, Colgate, Kodak, H. J. Heinz Company, Gillette, Hershey Foods Corporation, Johnson & Johnson, Kelloggs, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Inc.,Procter & Gambleand Sara Lee.
It was known as the Grocery Manufacturers of America before about June 2005 (going by its [press releases], which do not however seem to explicitly mention a change).
