Gronau is a town and a municipality in the district of Borken in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located near the border with the Netherlands, approx. 10 km east of Enschede.

One famous person from Gronau is the artist Udo Lindenberg. The rock’n’pop museum from Gronau is unique in Europe.
