The Guinea national football team, nicknamed Syli Nationale, is the national team of Guinea and is controlled by the Fédération Guinéenne de Football. They have never made the World Cup, and their best finish in the African Nations Cup was second in 1976. As of July 2006 they are ranked 24th in the FIFA World Rankings.
