Gulf Breeze High School is a secondary school currently located at 675 Gulf Breeze Parkway in Gulf Breeze, Florida, and is part of the Santa Rosa County School District.
This is the only high school within the city limits of Gulf Breeze, Florida.
Facility
The school is contained within five structures, and features separate sections for certain areas of academic instruction. Due to an increase in student population new additions have been added gradually since its establishment. In addition to the main building, there is a building dedicated to the art department and drama, a building for foreign language classrooms, an ESE building, and a band and music building.
Outlying sites include tennis courts, basketball courts, fields for baseball, football, and soccer, as well as a track and a newly renovated gym.
The school's swimming events are held at The Club.
Foreign Languages and Extra Curricular Activities
Gulf Breeze High School offers courses in various extracurricular fields, including drama, stagecraft, journalism, fine arts, technology, screenplay writing, JROTC, band, and music theory. Foreign language courses one through four are also offered to students in Spanish, French, and Latin.
Student Clubs
Gulf Breeze High School offers various clubs, sponsored by selected members of the faculty, to serve its diverse student population. GBHS has FBLA, JSA, FCA chapters, Forensics Club, Writer's Roundtable, Spanish Club, Spanish Honor Society, French Club, Latin Club, International Thespian Society, Quill & Scroll, Rotary Club, Key Club, Mu Alpha Theta, and National Honor Society clubs.
