Gursharan Kaur is the wife of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Kaur has a warm relationship with Zarine Musharraf, the mother of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.
Kaur stated that “I hope the government will not increase the price of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), that will affect a majority of the housewives.” However, the government did eventually increase the price of LPG.
