The name of Guru Angad's wife was Mata Khivi. She took much interest in developing the system of Langar and spent her life in selfless service. They had many children. One of their daughters was the daughter-in-law of the brother of Guru Amar Dasji. Hence, Guru Amardas was the paternal uncle of Guru Angad's son-in-law.
