Guy Whittingham

Guy Whittingham (b. 10 November, 1964 in Evesham) was a professional footballer with over 450 appearances for a number of English clubs, after leaving the British Army. He spent the majority of his career at Portsmouth where he scored 99 times in 173 league appearances, including Pompey's all-time scoring record of 42 league goals in the 1992-3 season (48 in all competitions). He played in the Premiership for Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday.
He retired from professional football with Wycombe Wanderers at the end of the 2000/2001 season.
