H3 is a pyrotechnic composition consisting of:

• Potassium chlorate (KClO₃) (Oxidizing agent) - 75%
• Charcoal - 25%
• Dextrin (binder)- +2% (additional percent)

It is mostly used as burst charge for small diameter shells.
