HBG Prangins

HBG Prangins is a large transmission facility near Prangins, Switzerland. It uses several antennas for the long- and shortwave range.

The most important transmitter is the time signal transmitter, which uses a T-aerial strung on 2 grounded 125 metres tall, freestanding towers of lattice steel, which were built in 1931. The longwave transmitter (time system UTC) works at a frequency of 75 kHz.
