HMAS Adelaide

Three ships of the Royal Australian Navy have been named HMAS Adelaide after Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.
- The first Adelaide was a Town-class light cruiser commissioned in 1922.
- The second Adelaide is an Adelaide class frigate, commissioned in 1980.
- The third Adelaide will be one of the multi-purpose vessels due to enter service in 2012.
